- Capacity field of 57 Esports racers to use Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the fight for the gold medal
- Mercedes-AMG Motorsport becomes the official car partner for Circuit events at the FIA Motorsport Games
VALENCIA, SPAIN (Tuesday, October 8, 2024) – The fight for the gold medal in Esports GT at this month’s FIA Motorsport Games will be fought exclusively with the Assetto Corsa Competizione virtual version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
One of the most successful cars in international GT3 competition, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 has scored more than 500 race victories around the world, including major wins at the 2022 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, 2016 Nurburgring 24-Hour, 2022 and ‘23 Bathurst 12 Hour, and multiple championship wins, including the 2023 Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli.
Each nation in the Esports GT competition will race at the FIA Motorsport Games with the same Mercedes-AMG GT3, providing a perfectly level playing field for all competitors.
The Esports competition (which also includes a second category for Esports F4) will be held at Valencia’s architecturally spectacular City of Arts and Sciences – also the venue for both the Opening and Closing ceremonies for the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games.
In addition, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport will be the official car partner for all Circuit events, providing both the safety car - the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series (the official FIA Formula One Safety Car) and the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ (the official FIA Formula One Medical Car).
Mercedes-AMG Motorsport will also provide hot lap vehicles for VIP guests and competition winner rides around Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

Hosted for the first time in Valencia, Spain, the third edition of the FIA Motorsport Games will attract more than 650 participants from more than 85 nations.
