The FIA Motorsport Games is deeply saddened at the passing of Team Switzerland karting driver, Elia Epifanio on March 31st at the age of 14.
Elia was one of the shining stars who competed in Karting Sprint Junior at Circuit Paul Ricard in France last October, where he impressed with strong performances across his qualifying heats to finish on the cusp of the 20 of the world-class field.
Elia and his family were extremely proud that he was able to represent Switzerland in the second edition of the Games. Everyone who met Elia has fond memories of him as a great person, a fast driver and a wonderful sportsman.
The FIA Motorsport Games joins Auto Sport Switzerland in expressing its deepest condolences to the family, in particular to Elia’s parents, Jennifer and Daniele, as well as to his siblings Romeo and Joelle, relatives, friends and racing colleagues.
