Valencia, Spain (October 1, 2024) - SRO, the FIA Motorsport Games Promoter, and VDS have reached an agreement to draw all eyes to the Valencian Community from October 23 to 27. During this week, the city will host both the seventh edition of VDS and the third edition of the FIA Motorsport Games, turning Valencia into a global stage for international events.

Both events will kick off on October 23 at Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences. VDS, the international tech event organized by Startup Valencia, has established itself as one of Southern Europe's premier events and serves as a platform that transforms the city into a global hub.

This new edition will bring together over 12,000 professionals from more than 100 different countries, more than 700 investors with over €200 billion in assets under management, and will feature over 600 renowned speakers and more than 2,500 startups, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and investment come together to empower the leaders of tomorrow.

This year's edition of the FIA Motorsport Games is expected to host more than 80 FIA National Sporting Authorities (ASNs), competing across 27 categories that span the entire spectrum of motorsports, from Circuit racing to Electric Street, Karting, Esports, Off Road, and Rally.

According to Nacho Mas, CEO of Startup Valencia, this partnership "is an opportunity to showcase the Valencian Community as a modern and innovative region, capable of hosting major international events and securing a privileged spot on the global agenda."

“We are very pleased to be partnering with one of Europe’s most high-profile tech summits for the FIA Motorsport Games,” said Anthony Comas, FIA Motorsport Games general manager.

“The tech industry is more invested than ever in motorsports and our two events have many synergies to be explored. We look forward to welcoming the VDS to the FIA Motorsport Games and putting the spotlight on Valencia.”

Both events will collaborate to enhance the international visibility that the Valencian Community will gain that week. Among the alliances formed, notable figures from the motorsports world will participate in the lineup of speakers for the seventh edition of the tech event, and a parallel VDS event will take place during the motorsports competition.
Additionally, the winners of the VDS Startup Competition will be invited to races and enjoy a VIP experience at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
