FIA Motorsport Games A-Z Edition 3: L-P

Latvia will maintain its 100 percent participation record at the FIA Motorsport Games with another strong entry. It will defend its gold medal in Drifting with Kristaps Blušs, who triumphed for his homeland in the 2022 final. Latvian Minirally Championship entrants Linda Cikmaca and Kaspars Cikmacs will compete for Auto Slalom glory, while Latvia will also be represented in Cross Car Senior, Cross Car Mini and Esports GT.

Lebanon is gearing up for its FIA Motorsport Games debut with a trio of entries. Its Karting Sprint Senior hopes will rest with Stephanie Hobeika, who has competed across the Middle East and beyond. Mohamad Chehab will go for gold in Drifting, taking the wheel of a BMW E36, while Talal Shair is its GT Single Make representative.

Lithuania has announced a very impressive delegation for this year's FIA Motorsport Games, which will see the European nation going for gold in no fewer than 14 disciplines. This includes a complete presence in the Karting, Electric Street and Esports categories. Lithuania can also count on entries in GT, where Arūnas Gečiauskas and Jonas Karklys will fly the flag and GT Sprint with Eimantas Navikauskas. Andrius Vasiliauskas will tackle Drifting, while there are further entries in Rally2 Gravel, Rally4 Gravel and Cross Car Junior.

Though it will be one of the smallest participants in terms of population, Luxembourg has confirmed a sizeable entry for this year's FIA Motorsport Games. Indeed, it will have nine shots at a gold medal, including assaults on both Esports F4, as well as Karting Mini and Karting Sprint Junior. Chester Kieffer will compete in Formula 4 following his successful season in the French F4 Championship, while Luxembourg is also present in Drifting, Auto Slalom, Cross Car Senior, Rally2 Tarmac and Rally4 Tarmac.

Malaysia will continue its 100 percent participation record at the FIA Motorsport Games with entries in five disciplines. In GT Sprint it will call upon the vast experience of Jazeman Jaafar, who has been a race winner in the fiercely competitive Fanatec GT Europe Endurance Cup, while Selim Rafique and Weiron Tan are confirmed for the two-driver GT discipline. Malaysia's Esports hopes will rest with brothers Naquib and Nabil Azlan, who will tackle the virtual GT and F4 races respectively, while Aik Sha Ng and Amaresh Malakar Choudhury will go for gold in Auto Slalom.

Malta will head to its third FIA Motorsport Games with another impressive contingent. Karting is a major focus, with entries in all four disciplines: Karting Sprint Senior, Karting Sprint Junior, Karting Sprint Mini and Karting Endurance. Malta's representative in Formula 4 will be Nicky Gauci. In Esports F4, Keith Camilleri will bring his experience of real-world and sim racing, while Dean Vella returns for a second FIA Motorsport Games assault in Esports GT after showing well in 2022.

Mexico's passion for racing is well known and it will be on full display at the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games. The Central American nation will have three chances to claim gold in the Karting category, with entries in Karting Sprint Senior, Karting Sprint Junior and Karting Mini. Yerick Robles will pull double duty by contesting Esports F4 and Esports GT, while entries in Karting Slalom and Rally2 complete a diverse Mexican line-up.

Morocco will go for gold in both Esports categories at this year's FIA Motorsport Games, which will be the African nation's second participation following its debut in 2022. Ahmed Erquizi will contest Esports GT, which will use the acclaimed Assetto Corsa Competizione. Ismail Oublal will compete in Esports F4, a new addition for this year's event that will take place on iRacing. Morocco will also be present on the Karting Mini grid with youngster El Gahoudy Nahyl.

The 2024 FIA Motorsport Games will be the second outing for Mozambique. Located in southeast Africa, the nation has confirmed a diverse entry that will see it compete in five disciplines. It will be present in Karting Sprint Senior and Karting Mini. Alisha Dos Santos Costa will compete in Cross Car Mini, while Zanil Satar will chase Drifting gold for Mozambique.

Namibia will make its FIA Motorsport Games debut this year, joining its neighbours Botswana and Angola as a newcomer at the multidisciplinary event. It will do so with a solo entry in Esports F4 for Adriaan Nel, who has experience of real-world and virtual competition.

Home to Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, Nepal will contest its second FIA Motorsport Games this year. Its Auto Slalom squad will consist of Krishna Prasad Paudel and Pragya Kandel, both of whom have built a strong body of work at home and across the South Asia region. Nepal will also be present on the Esports GT starting grid with Diprash Shakya.

A gold medal winner in Karting Slalom (2019) and Touring Car (2022), the Netherlands returns with another impressive delegation. It will enter all four Karting categories, including Mats van Rooijen in Karting Sprint Junior. The Netherlands will also be present in all three Cross Car categories, as well as Esports F4 and Esports GT. Oliver Jansen and Senna Bison will lead its charge for a second Karting Slalom gold, while entries in Rally4 Tarmac and Drifting complete a varied Dutch line-up.

Nigeria made its FIA Motorsport Games debut in 2022 and will return for a second assault this year. Baruch Roy-Bako will lead the charge in Karting Sprint Senior, bringing his experience of both domestic and international competition to Valencia. Oluwfemi Olaoye will fly the Nigerian flag in Esports GT, while youngster Kamtoya Chukwureh will tackle Esports F4.

Returning for a third attempt at the FIA Motorsport Games, Norway has named a strong line-up as it aims to secure a first-ever medal. It will be present in all three Cross Car categories with Edwin Gjedtjernet Høgberg (Mini), Theo Sebastian Johansen (Junior) and Eirik Steinsholt (Senior). There is also a double Esports entry, as well as a presence in Auto Slalom and Drifting. Finally, Olav Vaa will carry the Norwegian colours in Formula 4.

Peru will contest its second FIA Motorsport Games with another strong contingent. The South American nation won Karting Sprint Junior gold in 2022 thanks to Andrés Cárdenas, who returns with the new objective of securing Formula 4 glory. Given its success last time around, it is no surprise that Peru is entered in all four Karting categories. Further entries in both Esports categories, as well as Cross Car Senior and Cross Car Mini, complete an impressive Peruvian delegation.

The Philippines joins the list of FIA Motorsport Games debutants at the 2024 edition. Though he is just 12 years old, Karting Sprint Junior contender Mariano Axel Nocom already has considerable experience both at home and abroad, including a recent podium finish at Valencia. His compatriot Prix Trivino is also a well-travelled racer and will line up on the Karting Sprint Senior grid for the Philippines.

Poland has thus far earned three medals at the FIA Motorsport Games – two bronze and one silver – so a first gold will be its objective at the 2024 edition. Having earned silver last time out, Jakub Przygoński will be back at the wheel of a Toyota GR86 for another shot at Drifting glory. Poland will have a strong presence at Aspar Circuit, with a full complement of Karting entries and further contenders in Cross Car Junior and Cross Car Senior. There will also be chances for the nation to secure a medal in Karting Slalom, Auto Slalom and Formula 4.

A significant Portuguese delegation will make the short trip to Spain for this year's FIA Motorsport Games. Among them is an all-female Karting Endurance line-up of Matilde Magalhães, Margarida Furtado and Francisca Queiroz, and further entries in Karting Sprint Senior, Karting Sprint Junior and Karting Mini. Portugal will tackle a trio of Rally categories – Rally2 Tarmac, Rally4 Tarmac and Rally4 Gravel – and will be present in both Esports events. Entries in GT Single Make, Formula 4, Cross Car Senior and Drifting make this a strong and ambitious line-up.
