- Expert Spanish company selected to provide logistical support for multidisciplinary event
- Raft of services includes freight, travel, event management and media solutions available to all competing FIA National Sporting Authorities
R&C Sports Events Logistics has been named as the official logistics partner for the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games, which will be hosted by Generalitat Valenciana and Circuit Ricardo Tormo from 23-27 October.
The company can offer more than 25 years' industry experience with a variety of high-level clients, including some of the biggest names in global motor racing. It will provide its logistical support skills to ensure that the upcoming FIA Motorsport Games runs smoothly from start to finish.
Founded and run by Raül Castells, R&C Sports Events Logistics is based in Barcelona, giving the company intuitive knowledge of Spain. Striking a crucial balance between speed and precision, it will offer a full suite of services to competing FIA National Sporting Authorities (ASN), providing a turn-key solution for this year's hopefuls.
Its specialisms include all aspects of freight over land, sea and air, as well as warehousing and customs responsibilities. Its event management know-how encompasses sourcing staff, assisting with setup and creating temporary structures, while it can also handle all aspects of media, from photo and video solutions to on-site coordination and activation.
Organised by SRO Motorsports Group and the FIA, the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games will mark the third edition of the multidisciplinary competition, in which athletes chase gold, silver and bronze medals for their home nation. It promises to be the biggest yet, with the number of categories expanding to 28, while more than 80 ASNs are expected to attend.
It follows the inaugural edition hosted by Rome and Vallelunga in 2019, while Marseille and Circuit Paul Ricard took the baton in 2022. Given the ever-increasing scale of the event, the involvement of R&C Sports Events Logistics to support ASNs from across the world to travel and compete in Spain will be more important than ever in 2024.
"I am delighted that the FIA Motorsport Games will be able to count on the support of R&C Sports Events Logistics," said Stéphane Ratel, the founder and CEO of SRO Motorsports Group. "During a long career organising motor racing events, I have frequently seen the importance of logistics to a successful operation. Raül Castells and his team can offer great expertise, and we look forward to working with them during the coming months."
The dedicated FIA registration platform for competitors to enter the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games remains open until 23 September.
